Dr Murray Stone MBBS FRANZCOG –Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Stone is a graduate of the University of Queensland. He commenced his obstetric training in the UK in 1984  working for two years at St Mary’s Hospital in Portsmouth. On returning to Australia he completed his training at  the Mater, Ipswich and Nambour Hospitals. On obtaining his specialist qualifications he worked as a staff specialist  in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mater Hospital for fourteen years. 

During this time he had an integral role in training and mentoring many junior Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.  He also took this opportunity to pursue his special interest in high risk Obstetrics working in the Fetal Maternal  Unit at the hospital for eight years.

Recently he has been working in central London, for the past two years, teaching in hospitals including Chelsea  Westminster, Queen Charlotte’s, St Mary’s and Guy’s and St Thomas’s.

Over the course of his career thus far he has safely delivered over 5000 babies. After 2 years working at Arrivals  Obstetrics Centre he is excited to be establishing his own solo private practice at Level 1, South Bank House  Stanley Street Plaza South Bank QLD 4101
